Privacy Policy

Effective October 20, 2026

This policy explains what personal information ClipMovi, a product of Aitechma LLC, collects, how we use and share it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have. In short: we collect what we need to run your account, make your videos and take payments; we use service providers to help us do that; we do not sell your personal information; your uploads and videos are deleted automatically after a limited period; and you can contact us at any time to access or delete your information.

1.About this policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Aitechma LLC (“Aitechma LLC”, “we”, “us” or “our”), a Delaware limited liability company, collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit the ClipMovi website, create an account, or use ClipMovi products and services (together, the “Service”). ClipMovi is a product of Aitechma LLC, and Aitechma LLC is responsible for your personal information under this policy.

This policy should be read together with our Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms. By using the Service, you acknowledge that your information will be handled as described in this policy.

2.Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Account information: your email address, and optionally your name and profile photo.
  • Content you submit: the descriptions and instructions you write, messages you send to the ClipMovi AI assistant, and the logos, images, footage, audio, voice recordings, music, fonts and brand details you upload or select. This content may include personal information about you or other people, for example a person's face, voice or name.
  • Brand information: business names, calls to action, colors, fonts and other details you save in brand kits.
  • Purchase information: the credits you buy, the amount paid, currency, date and billing details such as your name, email and country. Payment card details are collected and processed directly by our payment processors; we do not receive or store your full card number.
  • Communications: messages you send us by email or through in-app support, survey responses, ratings, feedback and the content of any conversation with us.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage information: the pages and features you use, the videos and changes you request, settings you choose, the time and duration of your activity, and similar actions in the Service.
  • Device and connection information: IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, language, approximate location derived from your IP address, and referring pages.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: see Section 6.

Information from other sources

  • Payment processors, which tell us whether a payment succeeded, was refunded or was disputed.
  • Service providers that help us with customer support, security and fraud prevention.
  • Publicly available sources, for example when you ask us to use material from a public website, or stock media libraries you select content from.

You do not have to give us personal information, but some information, such as an email address, is needed to create an account and use the Service.

3.How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • provide the Service, including creating your account, signing you in, producing, changing and delivering your videos, storing your files for the retention period, and applying your brand kits;
  • process purchases, manage credit balances, apply promotions and returned credits, and prevent payment fraud;
  • send service messages, such as sign-in links, video ready or failed notices, receipts, security alerts and changes to our terms;
  • provide customer support and respond to your requests;
  • maintain, secure and improve the Service, including reviewing the quality of videos, fixing problems, and developing new features. This may include using the general design characteristics of videos, such as layouts, pacing and styles, with your logos, media and personal details removed, to help guide the design of future videos;
  • understand how the Service is used, through aggregated or de-identified analysis;
  • send you news, tips and offers about ClipMovi where permitted by law. You can unsubscribe at any time;
  • detect, investigate and prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents and breaches of our Terms; and
  • comply with legal obligations, enforce our agreements, and establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use the logos, photos, footage, voice recordings or other files you upload to create content for other customers, and we do not use them in our own marketing without your permission.

5.How we share information

We share personal information only as described below:

  • Service providers: companies that process information on our behalf to help us run the Service, such as hosting and storage, video and content generation, payment processing, email delivery, customer support, security and analytics providers. They may use your information only to provide services to us, under contractual confidentiality and data protection obligations.
  • Payment processors: to process your purchases and handle refunds and disputes. They handle your payment details under their own privacy policies.
  • Legal and safety: when we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, regulation, legal process or a governmental request, or is necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of ClipMovi, our users or others, including to prevent fraud.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy or sale of all or part of our business, in which case personal information may be transferred to the successor, subject to this policy.
  • With your consent or at your direction: for example when you share a video or a link, or ask us to share information with someone else.
  • Aggregated or de-identified information: which cannot reasonably be used to identify you, for any lawful purpose.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under U.S. state privacy laws.

6.Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies, local storage and similar technologies to:

  • keep you signed in and keep the Service secure (these are essential, and the Service does not work without them);
  • remember your preferences and unsent work;
  • provide in-app support, help articles and product updates; and
  • understand how the Service is used so we can improve it.

Some of these technologies are provided by our service providers. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the Service, including signing in, may then not work. We do not currently respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals, but we honor Global Privacy Control signals where required by law.

7.How long we keep information

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, including:

  • Account information: for as long as your account is open, and for a reasonable period afterwards to handle questions, prevent fraud and meet legal obligations.
  • Uploads and videos: for a limited period so you can preview, change and download them, as shown in the Service, after which they are deleted automatically. You can also delete videos sooner.
  • Purchase and billing records: for as long as required by tax, accounting and other laws, which is usually several years.
  • Support conversations and logs: for as long as needed to provide support, keep the Service secure and resolve disputes.

When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it. Copies in backups are removed on their normal backup cycle.

8.How we protect information

We use administrative, technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction, including access controls and encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure, since sign-in links are sent there. If we learn of a security incident affecting your personal information, we will notify you and the authorities where required by law.

9.International transfers

Aitechma LLC is based in the United States, and we and our service providers may process personal information in the United States and other countries whose data protection laws may differ from those where you live. Where we transfer personal information from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or another lawful transfer mechanism.

10.Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you and receive a copy of it;
  • correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • delete your personal information;
  • receive your information in a portable format;
  • object to or restrict certain processing, including processing based on legitimate interests;
  • withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent; and
  • opt out of marketing communications.

You can update much of your information directly in your account. To make any other request, email us at hello@clipmovi.com from the email address on your account. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within the time required by law. You may use an authorized agent where the law allows, in which case we may ask for proof of the agent's authority. Some information may be kept where we are legally required or permitted to, for example billing records.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights. If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority, although we would appreciate the chance to address your concern first.

Marketing emails

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in the email or by contacting us. We will still send service messages, such as sign-in links, receipts and notices about your videos and account.
